I I knew most of these, but some I felt were just pub quiz trivia, not at all important to know. Eg ‘what was the education act popularly called 80 years ago?’: My answer would be, in 2023 ‘who cares?’
I completely agree that the citizenship test should concentrate on things like currrent laws and society in general, with some broadly stated questions on history: not names of particular people etc but on significant events: e.g. Not ‘who hid in an oak tree’ but ‘The English civil war was between King and Parliament- true or false?’

Never been to UK. Born and raised in Korea. Not really interested but my politics professor suggested trying this out. 14 of 24 point(s), (58.33%). I guess that’s pretty good lol.
